Palomino ASP.NET Controls

January 14, 2009 19:43 by J Christopher Bannon

Next-generation ASP.NET controls from ComponentOne. Check out C1's new Studio for ASP.NET. These controls are built using their new "Palomino" technology.

These are the best ASP.NET controls I have ever used. They are everything I want/need in controls and way more. My favorite features are:

  • Badass controls (Accordion, Slider, Tabs, Window, more)
  • Semantic Markup
  • Valid XHTML
  • Pure CSS Themes
  • Rich Visual Styles (Vista, Office 2007, more)
  • Blazing Performance
  • Built on ASP.NET AJAX
  • Baked-in animation
Please take a minute to see their ASP.NET Control Explorer

Beta Release of RIAnimation

February 3, 2008 17:22 by J Christopher Bannon

Hey guys, I just published the latest version of RIAnimation. It is the latest build for both the .NET 2.0 and 3.5 Frameworks. The build contains some nice new features and some fixed bugs.

What's New?

I have added HoverOver and HoverOut as officially supported events. I have also added a much requested Toggle event. This is a click event that fires a function on the even clicks and the opposite on the odd clicks. This is a really nice feature to implement animations on toggled modules. I used it on my site as the expand and collapse lists of RIAnimations properties. Please keep sending feedback and let me know how you are using it! I would love to post about someone using it in a real world app.

Keep it fresh -Chris

January 28, 2008 16:34 by J Christopher Bannon

I just finished building the RIAnimation ASP.NET animation framework for .NET 3.5. This is fully compatable with the baked in Ajax and Animation with ASP.NET 3.5. Let me know if you have any issues.

Enjoy
